The Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) is a unique experience for motorsport fans \u2014 one of the most spectacular event series in its category, where power, skill and technology all compete at the highest level. At Howmet Wheel Systems \u2014 manufacturer of forged aluminium wheels for trucks, trailers and buses \u2014 we know that in a competition like this, our work matters. In fact, it is put to the test. This is the kind of challenge where, alongside driver skill and performance, every gram saved can make a difference \u2014 and where the true durability of a wheel is proven under real pressure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Goodyear FIA ETRC event held in Misano on the final weekend of May, attended by more than 35,000 motorsport fans, visitors to our stand in the fan zone had the opportunity to explore members of the Alcoa\u00ae Ultra ONE\u00ae wheel family, as well as a range of Alcoa\u00ae Wheels accessory products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Howmet Aerospace is behind numerous innovative products, including the patented technologies of forged aluminium Alcoa\u00ae wheels, such as Dura-Bright\u00ae, Dura-Flange\u00ae, LvL ONE\u00ae, Dura-Bright\u00ae \/ Dura-Flange\u00ae and Ultra ONE\u00ae. On site, visitors were able to view wheels in the following specifications: 22.5″ x 7.50″, 22.5″ x 8.25″, 22.5″ x 9.00″, 22.5″ x 11.75″ offset 120, 22.5″ x 8.25″ 4.1-tonne, and 22.5″ x 11.75″ offset 0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the products on display, visitors could also learn more about the company, Dura-Bright\u00ae surface treatment technology, the MagnaForce\u00ae alloy, our sustainability and environmental initiatives, and our versatile mobile application with its wide range of useful features. And, of course, we also brought along the ever-popular table football game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
