Return Eligibility

At Alcoa Wheels, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that there may be instances where you may need to return a product. Please read our return and refund policy carefully to ensure a smooth process

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging / Opened items will not qualify for a refund.

Your entitlements under the Australian Consumer Law are as follows:

Our products are accompanied by guarantees that cannot be waived under the Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a major failure, you have the right to request a replacement or refund and compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage. Furthermore, if the goods are not of acceptable quality and the issue does not constitute a major failure, you have the right to have the goods replaced.

Return Process

Initiation

You have 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.

To initiate a return, please get in touch with our customer support team at awp.sales@howmet.com; please send the order number, contact name, phone number, issue description and product photos.

Inspection and Approval

Once your return request is received, we may require an evaluation of your request to determine the suitability of a replacement or refund.

Return Shipping

If the return is due to a fault on Howmet’s part, we will cover the return shipping costs. However, if the return is for any other reason, you will be responsible for the shipping costs, as they are non-refundable

Refund process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Your refund will be initiated once our quality assurance team inspects the returned product and verifies that it complies with our returns policy. This inspection process typically takes up to 1 week, although often less.

Once the return is approved, it may take 1-2 days for the refund to be credited by Alcoa Wheels to your financial institution, such as your credit card provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for assistance. We will work with you to arrange for a replacement or refund.
